S7 Vehicle Trackers
An S7 tracker monitors the location of your vehicle and can help with recovery if it is stolen.

S7 systems are often chosen by customers who want insurance-approved tracking without the additional driver recognition required by an S5 system.

S5 Vehicle Trackers
S5 trackers include driver recognition, normally through a separate identification tag.

If the vehicle moves without the recognised driver present, the tracking centre can respond to the unauthorised movement.

Some insurers require an S5 tracker for higher-value, performance or prestige vehicles.

Tracker and immobiliser options
A tracker helps locate and recover a stolen vehicle. An immobiliser is designed to help prevent the vehicle from being driven away.

S7 vehicle trackers in our current online range start from £299 fitted.
S5 trackers currently start from £499 fitted, with the final price depending on the system selected and the features included.

What is the difference between an S5 and S7 tracker?
An S7 tracker provides insurance-approved vehicle tracking. An S5 tracker also includes driver recognition, normally using an identification tag carried by the authorised driver.

Which tracker does my insurer require?
This depends on the vehicle and your insurance policy. Your insurer may specify an S5 tracker, an S7 tracker or a named approved system. Check the requirement before purchasing.

Do tracker prices include fitting?
Yes. The tracker prices shown in our online range include fitting at our Chudleigh workshop.

Is there a subscription to pay?
Most monitored vehicle tracking systems have an ongoing subscription. The cost and available payment terms are shown on the individual tracker product page.

Where is the tracker fitted?
The tracker is installed discreetly inside the vehicle. Its exact location is not disclosed, helping to reduce the risk of it being found and removed.

Can a tracker stop my vehicle from being stolen?
A tracker is primarily designed to help locate and recover the vehicle after theft. If you also want a system designed to prevent the vehicle from being driven away, ask us about an immobiliser.

Can you fit trackers to vans and motorhomes?
Yes. Phace installs vehicle tracking systems in cars, vans, motorhomes and other compatible vehicles.

Is a courtesy car available?
Yes, with advance notice. Please arrange it when booking and bring your driving licence on the day.
