Factory Screen Integration
Where supported, Apple CarPlay can be added while keeping the original factory screen and interior layout. This is ideal when you want modern phone connectivity without changing the look of the dashboard.
Touchscreen Stereo Upgrade
For older vehicles, vans, Defenders and cars with outdated stereos, a replacement touchscreen unit can be the better option. This can add Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB radio, Bluetooth and camera input, depending on the system fitted.
Controls and vehicle features
Where supported, the aim is to retain the factory feel of the vehicle. This may include steering wheel controls, parking sensors, factory cameras or vehicle menus, depending on the vehicle and interface used.

All Apple CarPlay prices shown in our online range include installation at the Phace workshop in Chudleigh. The final price depends on the vehicle and the work involved, some systems take longer to install or require the original display to be opened so additional circuit boards can be fitted.

WHY PEOPLE ADD APPLE CARPLAY
Up-to-date navigation on your car’s main screen
For many customers, the main reason to add Apple CarPlay is simple: they want Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze on the car’s main display.
The routes, traffic information and destination details come through your phone, so they stay current without paying for manufacturer map updates on older Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar and other factory systems.
CarPlay also gives you access to compatible music, phone and messaging apps through the vehicle screen and controls.
Not every app on your iPhone will appear. Apps must be designed and approved for Apple CarPlay, and video services such as Netflix are not supported.

Can Apple CarPlay be added to any car?
Apple CarPlay can be added to most vehicles, but not every make, model and factory system is compatible. Send us your vehicle details and a photo of the current screen or stereo and we will check what is possible.
Can I keep my original factory screen?
On many compatible vehicles, yes. Where the original display cannot be used, a replacement touchscreen stereo may be the better option.
Will my steering wheel controls and reversing camera still work?
They can often be retained, but this depends on the vehicle, factory equipment and system being fitted. We will confirm this before booking.
Does the price include fitting?
Yes. All Apple CarPlay prices shown on our website include fitting at our Chudleigh workshop.
