Apple CarPlay / Android Auto uses a USB cable to work it isn't wireless (You can buy a wireless dongle online if you wish to make it wireless)

This system is compatible for the VW MIB2 system (If your stereo screen looks exactly like this one) Plus you will need a 5F unit in the glovebox (see attached image)

Your 5F unit in the glovebox MUST have 2 SD card slots labelled SD1 and SD2.

You will also need to have a certain software version on your stereo screen (See below)

1 Hold the menu button down for a minimum of three seconds, then select software update/versions, then click on installed SW Train version.

Make a note of your SW Train version as we will need this to check compatibility.

If your screen begins with MST2 and has two SD card slots labelled SD1 and SD2 it's compatible.
